Dr. Sajid Khan wins UF Health Cancer Center 2018 Research Day Poster Award

Sajid Khan, Ph.D., a postdoctoral fellow in the department of pharmacodynamics, won a UF Health Cancer Center 2018 Research Day Poster Award in the postdoctoral category. Khan’s poster was titled, “DT2216, a Bci-XL proteolysis targeting chimera, is a safer and more potent antitumor agent than navitoclax.” He was one of three winners in the category during the Research Day event on Oct. 30 and received a $500 award for professional development or travel.

Khan’s primary mentor is Daohong Zhou, M.D., a professor of pharmacodynamics and radiation oncology and the Henry E. Innes Professorship of Cancer Research.
